Wish all of you could have been here at BVC today as Dennis Wilkison and I met with the architect, civil engineer, and landscape engineer to discuss what our next steps are in continuing with the house renovation. We found out a great many things and to make a long meeting very short: we’re on target to submitting our plans to the Planning Commission of San Jose!! Not that any of this will take place tomorrow but with a few things accomplished here and there, we should be submitting in the very near future. These are exciting days for BVC … so I’m trusting that you are praying along with me for God’s perfect will to be done!
There’s so much to be done before even a speck of dirt can be moved. Thank you for your patience and thank you for your generosity in giving to the House Renovation Fund so faithfully!
FUNDAMENTALS OF THE FAITH CLASS: Every believer needs to take this class (whether you’ve been a believer 50+ years or just 5 minutes). This class is excellent in giving you the basics of why you believe what you believe. Sign-ups are still being taken so don’t delay, sign-up today! This class is set to begin on Wednesday, March 20, at 7 p.m. This is the only time in 2019 that this class will be offered.
COMMUNITY FAMILY FESTIVAL: is coming up on Saturday, April 20. A few new twists are being added to this event. Santino and Eloisa Fortes are the point-people for this event. If you’re thinking about volunteering, please see them!
JERETT AND ANNETTE OLSON will be going to Valley Baptist Church in Merced, California, to bring the message this coming Sunday. Pray for Jerett as he brings God’s Word to these people (Valley Baptist is currently without a pastor). This is great experience for both as they seek God’s will for their lives in going forward.
CHOIR: There will be a choir for March 31 service. Practice will be held on March 17 and March 24. If you’re interested in singing on that Sunday, please let me know!
This Sunday I’m returning to 2 Corinthians and will be speaking from 2 Corinthians 2:12-17 with a message entitled, “Upset.” Hope you’re planning to be here!!
