HAPPY NEW YEAR! I trust that each of you had a great Christmas and welcomed the New Year with lots of expectations of what you could accomplish for God’s glory in 2019.
In the message of December 30, 2018, I encouraged you to do three things each day in 2019. Here’s what they were:
#1 — tell God, “I love you” each day upon waking up.
#2 — tell God, “I trust you” each day following that.
#3 — tell God, “I’m here as your minister” following that.
God wants to use us in big ways in 2019!
2019 is also the year that the house renovation becomes reality as we’ll be submitting plans to the Planning Commission. That’s supposed to take place in January! I’m so excited!! Thanks to each one of you who contributed to the house renovation in 2018. Thank you for listening to the prompting of the Lord. Thank you for being such an encouragement!!
January 9: We’re returning to 2nd Harvest Food Bank. It’s located at 4001 N. First Street. 6-8 p.m. — if you can arrive early, it gives you time to fill out the necessary paperwork.
January 20: 2019 Annual Meeting! This is the date we show you all the pictures from the architect as well as the landscaping engineers.
January 25-27: Women’s Retreat
I’m so excited over what God is going to do in our midst in 2019! Let’s
make sure we’ve made ourselves Mindful, Approachable, Bold, Grace-Full,
and Self-Giving to those we meet! Have a great rest of the week …
