In our topsy-turvy world it sure is good to know that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever! We all know that life is temporary and that one day we’ll meet Jesus face-to-face if we’ve asked Him into our heart to be our Savior. This week saw the death of Rev. Billy Graham. All across social media is the following quote: Billy Graham once said “One of these days you’ll hear that Billy Graham has died. Don’t believe a word of it. I’ll be more alive than ever. I just changed my address. I’ll be living with God. ” That’s our message here at BVC … that all of us will live with Jesus forever. All it takes is asking Him to be our Savior. Have you done that? What’s coming up at BVC?
First, GAME NIGHT is this Saturday, February 24. It starts at 5 p.m. and ends around 9:45ish. We’ll be bbq-ing so come prepared to eat. Bring your favorite board game and be prepared to laugh, fellowship, and smile a lot!! All are welcome … bring a friend or two with you!!
Next, WORSHIP on Sunday, February 25. 1 Peter 3:1-6 talks about THE MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP as it relates to WIVES. Next Sunday, March 4, it will be THE MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP as it relates to HUSBANDS. Don’t miss these 2 Sundays!!
Then, MEN’S RETREAT March 9-11. Our own BVC Worship Team (led by Ramir Ramirez) will be leading all worship sessions. And there’s still room for you!! Contact Jerett Olson and he’ll fill you in on the details.
Then, COMMUNITY FAMILY FESTIVAL, March 31, from 11-3 p.m. This is our chance to welcome our neighbors to our campus for an afternoon of fun, face painting, music, and maybe a few surprises!! We need people who would be willing to go around the neighborhood and invite people to come. If you can do that (or another task), please see Santino and Eloisa Fortes!!
Then, EASTER SUNDAY, APRIL 1. Join us for our fantastic Easter Service!!
