Hi BVC’ers!!

The wonderful world of wacky weather! It has finally caught up to me — I’ve been sick (and it hasn’t even been fun!). Whenever I hear of someone getting sick, I immediately think of the 23rd Psalm. Especially the part that says “He MAKES ME lie down in green pastures.” Seems that God is always in the business of getting us to slow down and listen for His still small voice. So I’ve been following the orders of my doctor (Janice) and her trusty nurse (Holly) in making sure that I can be back at full speed very soon. However, there are things which I have to acknowledge and that’s not to rush back too soon (and suffer some sort of relapse). In the meantime, I’ve had lots of chances to pray and meditate upon God’s Word. Today’s verse (James 1:12) exhorted me to remain steadfast and that life is a marathon, not a sprint. Slowly but surely, we get there … all along the way we need to keep our focus and direction because life can sure throw you a curve (like being sick) every once-in-a-while!

FINGERPRINTING is coming up this Saturday, March 19, at 9:30 a.m. You should have received your form from David Knoblich this past Sunday in person (or this week in the mail). If you haven’t, no worries — just come on Saturday and we’ll have extra forms.

EASTER SUNDAY is coming! Plan on inviting someone to attend with you!!

Have a great rest of the week — see you Sunday!
Love, Pastor Chuck
