Hi BVC’ers!
I want to give you an update on what’s going on with the house renovation. We’ve heard from the architect and he feels we may be able to go before the Planning Commission on July 24. Except for some minor considerations, our plans look very good. Once approval is given by the Planning Commission, we can proceed to the Building Commission.
The Transition Team (they will give recommendations to the Board on what type of temporary structure we use while the House is unavailable) will meet this Sunday, June 2, after the morning worship service. Be sure to pray for them as they chart a course of action (especially for wisdom, discernment, and insight). It is anticipated that the House will be unavailable for all of 2020.
I want to thank each of you who has given monetarily for the House Renovation. I have no idea as to who is doing the giving each week but I’m grateful for how the Lord has touched your hearts and given you the resources to share! I’m grateful for your obedience to God’s leading! It is exciting to see the totals each and every Sunday.
I believe that the House will forever stand as a testament to God’s goodness and exist for us to see how He worked all the plans and funds out. Years from now, you’ll be able to recount the story and use the House as a “marker” of just how big our God is.
So, continue to pray and uplift all the various components in this project!!
FATHER’S DAY: Our Annual Luau! Come dressed in Hawaiian dress on that Sunday as we celebrate Dads everywhere!!
2ND HARVEST FOOD BANK: Coming up on Wednesday, June 19, from 6-8 p.m. at 4001 N. First Street. Be sure to go online and register.

Have a great rest of the week — I’m looking forward to seeing each of you on Sunday!!
