Hi BVC’ers! Here’s an update on what’s been happening with the house renovation: Dennis Wilkison (our point person on this project) and I met with the landscape engineers a few weeks back and they have presented their vision on what the property can look like from a landscape viewpoint. We want to share this design with you and are currently waiting upon them to give us a design in 3D! From the drawings I’ve seen, it looks pretty good!! It appears that we are on the right path to being able to present something to the planning commission in the very near future. Keep in mind that the planning commission is not the building commission (that’s a whole other ballgame).

I want to say THANK YOU to all those of you who continue to donate money towards the house renovation. Your gifts (whether big or small) are enabling us to continue to make progress (and paying for everything as the bill(s) arrive). Thank you for your generosity … it’s exciting to see the offerings each week and know that the Lord has touched your hearts to give in such dramatic fashion.

LOVE LIKE THAT sermon series concludes this Sunday, December 2, with ‘HOW IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE?’ I hope you’re planning on being here and being challenged by God’s Word to “Love Like That.”!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD has now come and gone. I’m so proud of our point person, Lori Serpa, for the fantastic job she does each year on this project. We again packed over 500 boxes! Isn’t that amazing?!! Many thanks to Lori for her love of children and her tireless efforts. BTW, several from the BVC family are driving down to Southern California to work in the distribution center on Saturday. Please uplift them in prayer as they drive down and return.

HULA MINISTRY continues to be used by the Lord in great ways. Under the leadership of Stella Begonia, they were asked to dance in the worship center at Lightbearer’s Fellowship Church (where Raud de Silva is the pastor). They did a fantastic job and I’m so thrilled at the opportunity given to them. Way to go ladies!!

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS are now all up and look beautiful. The outside is adorned with lights and the inside looks fantastic! Many thanks to Jerett Olson for heading up the outside decorations and Janice Austin heading up the inside decorations. A job well done!!

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE is set for 7:30 p.m. on December 24. If you’d like to be part of a Christmas Eve Choir, please indicate your interest on the registration card on December 2nd and 9th. Practices will be on Saturday, December 15 and December 22.

I look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday!
Love, Pastor Chuck
