Hi BVC’ers!

This coming Tuesday is October 31. It’s Halloween. But more importantly it’s our COMMUNITY FAMILY FESTIVAL. This event will be held from 5-8 p.m. We’ve got some different twists on this year’s event and I trust that each of you will not only come and participate, but also invite someone to come with you (or come as your guest).

Why do we do this event? What’s the purpose? God never intended His church to stay inside all the time in sort of a “holy huddle.” God expected us to interact in our community, in our society in such a way so that people could come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.

So, each year we open our campus to the neighborhood and invite them to come and enjoy a safe and fun-filled Halloween experience. This is where you come in…because we need YOU to meet and greet these people. They come from all over the world and all over the neighborhood. It’s a great chance to make a kingdom impact.

What will there be this year? We’ve got several cars being used for TRUNK OR TREAT. This ought to be fun … and we have some real creative people in our midst when it comes to decorating their trunks!! We’ll have the traditional jump houses. We’ll have some great food (courtesy of our kitchen staff team). And we’ve also got a surprise awaiting everyone that you’ll just have to come and see for yourself. We’ll also have a photo booth, so your memories can be put on film.

Community Family Festival runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. It’s our prayer that you’ll join us!! Can’t wait to see everyone on Tuesday night!
Love, Pastor Chuck
