What a fantastic time we all had last Sunday — a great worship service followed by a great bbq lunch followed by special events and capped off with great singing!! None of this would have been possible without the help given in a variety of areas: set-up and clean-up (you all did a great job). To the kitchen and cooks — what else can we say? The food was delicious and your efforts did not go by unnoticed!! To all of you who participated in the special events (everything from tug-o-war to a piñata) — you all did a great job! I do think the highlight, though, was the distribution of 450 water balloons. And how about Amvir Sumera winning the watermelon eating contest in addition to tying Holly Austin for the pie-eating championship? All-in-all, a very good day!
This coming Sunday, THE CHURCH TRIUMPHANT, concludes with a message from Titus 3:9-15. Then on Sunday, July 17, a new series begins:
