Prayer is one of the six main core values of Berryessa Valley Church. I just want you to know that I’m so glad the prayer requests on our Facebook page are being received so favorably and that so many of you are praying! Some of the requests have been tough ones: here I’m thinking of Larry and the ordeal that he’s been through. Your prayers have sustained and encouraged him during this very long stay in the hospital. Your prayers have helped to relieve anxiety, depression, fear, and loneliness. Your prayers have lifted Larry (and others) up before the Lord knowing that He is already at work in each situation. And prayer causes our hearts to be at rest and peace knowing that God is at work! Keep up the great work in praying — I’m very proud of you!
Last night I conducted a New Member Class. We had three people attend it and are proceeding through the membership process. Be sure you get to know Carri McKinney, Melissa Beers, and Jesse Flores — it’s a joy to have them be a part of BVC!!

COMMUNITY FAMILY FESTIVAL: is fast approaching on October 31, from 5-8 p.m. We still need CANDY, CANDY, and more CANDY. We also need cars for “TRUNK OR TREAT”!
