Janice and Holly returned home from the 2016 Women’s Retreat and shared with me all kinds of good things which happened while they were there. I’m so glad that they got the chance to attend. There’s nothing like participating in such an event because it buoys you for the remainder of the year — you’ve been edified, encouraged, perhaps chastised a bit, and even lifted up. You’ve discovered new friends and rediscovered some old friends. It lets you know that you’re not alone on your spiritual journey as there are others making the journey with you!
Hard to believe but January is coming to an end! What’s on tap here at BVC as we move forward?
NICARAGUA MISSIONS TRIP. BVC sent two on this missions trip — and our goal this year is to put something on our Facebook page each day while Dennis and Celina are away. We know that their heart’s desire is for God to use them in a great way while they are there. Dennis leaves January 29 and will be back on February 14. Our goal is to have Dennis share of this experience on February 21!
MEN’S RETREAT is coming up March 4-6 at Mt. Hermon. Registration is due so if you’re interested in attending, please let that be known.
COMMUNITY FAMILY FESTIVAL. Saturday, March 26 — this will be our big outreach into the community the day before Easter!
EASTER SERVICES on Sunday, March 27. Specific times will be announced very soon.
SUNDAY, JANUARY 31 I’ll be speaking from Colossians 3:22-4:1 on the subject of workers and bosses. Looking forward to seeing each of you then!!
