There is nothing like showing trust and then obeying the Lord. It does bring peace and contentment because you know the Lord can be counted on through this journey called life. And there are those who enter our life just so we can share the good news about Jesus! As the vision statement of BVC aptly states “the purpose of BVC is to extend the hope of Jesus Christ to San Jose and beyond through loving, caring, and serving.” How does one go about sharing that hope? Most often, verbally. I trust that you are sensing the Lord using you to say a word about Jesus to those around you. Jesus has sent us into the world to do precisely that (see Matthew 28:18-20). Someone’s eternal destiny depends on that happening! I’m praying for each of you reading this to have the fun and joy of saying something about Jesus!!
FUNDAMENTALS OF THE FAITH: is returning. But there’s a switch — the Wednesday Night Bible Study/Life Group will NOT be meeting in July, August, or September. Instead, FUNDAMENTALS OF THE FAITH will meet each week from 7-8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. This class is specifically designed to teach about the truths of the Bible. Jerett Olson and I will be leading this class. If you’d be interested in signing up for this class, please see either one of us and we’ll order you a workbook. This class is vital for every believer.
KNOW YOUR GIFT CLASS. Will be returning following the conclusion of Fundamentals of the Faith.
EVANGELISM TRAINING CLASS will be held in early October.
DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING CLASS (this class consists of 10 weeks) will be held after the summer is over.
I’m excited about these classes and trust you are as well. Each person who calls BVC their church home needs to seriously consider enrolling in these classes. The more informed you are about your spiritual gift, the more comfortable you will feel knowing which type of evangelist you are. The more knowledgeable you are in regards to Biblical truth, the more God can use you in His kingdom work! If you have any questions, please let me know.
