Hi BVC’ers!
Many of us are going to be taking some vacation days during these weeks.
As we go from place-to-place, perhaps we’ll pause and reflect upon the
beauty we’re seeing (imagine Hawaii) or the history we’re gazing upon
(imagine Boston or Philadelphia) or the serenity we’re experiencing
(imagine swinging on a hammock in your back yard). God has made all
three areas for us to enjoy! I never cease to be amazed at a rock
formation, a waterfall, a dirt road, or gazing upon an animal in the
wild. This past Sunday, I had the wonderful opportunity to speak at
Youth Camp. The ride there was wonderful and full of so many things to
see: wild rabbits, turkeys, deer — all within 2½ hours of the hustle
and bustle in which we live! It truly reminded me that God has designed
a wonderful world for us!
Do remember to pray for the youth who attended YOUTH CAMP. There were
about 80 in all plus counselors. From what I could tell on Sunday, it
was a great group. Many thanks to Santino and Eloisa, Raud and Maricar,
Valerie, Eric and Grace and all the rest who were used by the Lord to
influence these lives for His glory!
2ND HARVEST FOOD BANK is coming up on Wednesday, August 3, from 6-8 p.m.
Space is still available. The location is at 4001 N. First Street,
San Jose! Look forward to having you there!!
COMMUNITY FAMILY FESTIVAL is fast approaching and is scheduled for October 31. Mark your calendars!!
The 7 CHURCHES OF REVELATION continues this Sunday as we look at Smyrna, the persecuted church. Hope to see you then!
Have a great rest of the week.
Love,
Pastor Chuck
